Hi All! Turns out I'm right next to the entrance door. Which is incidentally right next to Noah, an awesome artist. He does some really nice watercolor commissions and to the other side is a wonderful artist that for the life of me I can't remember her name. She has been helping me with some questions I was curious about from another venders point of view. Her awesome friend is right next to her and I got some of her buttons to give to a friend of my own.
(I will update this with names and possibly links but I forgot my little pile of business cards so I don't have that info presently.)
From a vender point of view I've been doing alright. Not a large number of sales but I'm hopeful that Sunday will bring a better buying crowd than before.
That and SALE!! I will be taking some of the pricing way down. Even if it looks like I haven't changed the pricing I probably have. (I was informed that I probably should have slashed the original price and then written the sale price so people would know. But I had already made new tags and attached them.)
From an attendee's point of view, what I have seen and participated in was great!! The people are very nice and fun. Ribbons abound, people dance, and gamer's game right? But dang if I'm not tired after it all.
So far Anime LA is written in grey on my list. So good thoughts and I may just try to get a table for next year early if at all possible.
On the future Conventions front, I got contacted by Anime Expo and it seems they are offering a few tables to waitlisters now. I got offered a table but I'm not sure with the sales as they were if it is advisable at this time to go. Since it is later in the season the prices are higher. Hmm...
Well off I go, I hope to see you at table 1B at Anime LA on Sunday. Maybe you will see something you like since new stuff goes on the table daily?
